Adelaide update

I have 2 plants that are too close and the patch is a tangled mess.
The Baird 774 has a good fruit measuring 35and 1/2 inches
It has grown 3 and 1/2 inches since yesterday, I have never had
one grow that quick.
The Lloyd 876.5 has a good fruit, 34 and 1/2 inches. It has grown
1 and 1/2 inches.
I have not buried any vines yet, I feel there is no point until
you have an idea of where the pumpkins will be.
Am I wrong in thinking that?
Should you bury before the pumpkins are set?

I would like soom feed back with this question.

Stewart buried his vines only to have the female flowers die.

The inner leaves are looking very old and are dying.
The plants aren't even 3 months old. I am turning some vines back
to the centre to shade the main roots.
We have had some extreamly hot weather here and I am surprised the
plants survived. My mate Lyn has been hit with powdery mildew.
Not him....his plant. Maybe I should spray him and his car the next
time he comes over.......hear that Lyn....I know your there....
While I'm picking on people....John Sargeant.....did ya see those
measurments mate......did ya see em.
Your turn now.....I'm waiting....
I have a digital camera now , so I can send you a picky if ya want!
Ohhh...the sun is going down...I had better pollinate a few long
gourds....hang on a minute...........make that 10.
Ohhh sorry ...wrong list...we don't talk about gourds do we.
Things are happening now and I have something to talk about.
Stay tuned for the next update.

Tony Hickman........way in front.

My sympathy to .....Wendy.
