Re: SPACE

Jeremy,
I grew a 200kg+ fruit in a very small area 12' x 12' and so have many
others. There have been several discussions on this topic in the past which
should help. You can use the Duncan's search engine to locate them.

Subject: SPACE

Greetings, fellow growers!

I would like some feedback if you could be so kind on Dill's Atlantic Giant.
I've read you should allow up to 2500sq/ft. for each vine, but my garden is
only about 450 and i was just curious if any of you gurus out there have
grown
the giants under similar circumstances.

I know several people have discussed burying the vine 10 ft. past chosen
pumpkin to allow more roots to develop and discourage further pollination,
focusing all energy on pumpkin growth, but this would seem also to help
limit
space requirements.

Please let me know your ideas!!

Thanks,

Jeremy
