Re: plant comparison

Most everyone had a good experience with their 935 Lloyd 97, but I did not. I grew
the 935 Lloyd 97 in 1998 and it ranked as one of my poorer pumpkin plants. Of the
12 plants I had, both the vine and leaf measurements ranked #12 by the end of June.
The vine was more green than yellow. I grew four pumpkins on the plant as they were
pollinated late. I estimated that the largest pumpkin weighed 305 pounds, but I
think that the pumpkin weighed heavier than my estimate. The other three pumpkins
were estimated to weigh between 140 and 175 pounds and I think that all three
weighed heavier than the estimate. The color of the pumpkins was cream with some
green -- not much orange.
