Re: Main vine?

I have done that on a 620 Black a couple of day's ago, not intended but end result of shaping
a vine when I shouldn't have touched the plant at all that day.
Would also like to hear how other have done in this situation ?
Will let you know how it fairs out at end of season.

Has anyone ever heard of or cut off the main vine  just after the pumpkin?
I had someone tell me that if you did this all   the energy  would go into the pumpkin.
I think he thought that any growth past the pumpkin didn't contribute as much as
the secondaries off the main between the tap root and the pumpkin.
