SQUASH VINE BORER MOTH!!! There did I say it loud enough?? If you
do not keep every inch of your plants sprayed with the proper chemicals your
pumpkin season will likely be over soon. These pests lay eggs that later
hatch a larvae type worm. After the worm/borer hatches it bores inside of
you plants and eats them from the inside out. I lost my plants to borers
the first two years. I see that you are using thiodan. Although I have never
used it, I think it should work. I am us using a product called warrior-T.
So far it appears to be working for myself and a few others who are using it.
However you will need your restricted use license in order to get it.
