Re: Effect of Cross-Pollination on Fruit

Correct, this years pumpkins will be fine. It will show up in next years crop if you plant the seeds produced from this years pumpkins.

I am taking a year of from AG. I am growing Cinderella and Prizewinner
Hybrids. I assume that if cross-pollination should occur, it would have no
effect on this years pumpkins. Am I correct?
All of my 4 AGs suffered from rot and could not even be moved from the patch.
Too much damp weather!!!!
So this year I am raising the smaller varieties to give to the neighbors kids.
Weather this year has been great.
