Pesticides & Pumpkins
Hi All,
We were just wondering about whether or not you put some kind of plastic
over the actual fruit when spraying pesticides and fertilizers. Does it hurt
the skin of the pumpkin, or is it desirable to spray the actual fruit. If
not, we can cover the fruit with plastic during applications. But what about
the actual stem of the pumpkin and vines on either side of the stem -- Do
you spray them? Obviously, we are not going to eat this pumpkin.
