Anybody using Drip Irrigation?

I know many use soaker hoses but what about drip irrigation? Do you use
emitters, adjustable emitters just at the base, dripline parallel to the
vine, a grid system to do the entire patch regardless of where the plant
goes, etc? Any help appreciated, layout ideas, gph, on-time, etc. Thanks.
