Welcome to the party !! Looks like we all are having that !!! I lost all back mains and large secondaries on my 611 Hester and have cracks on my 900 Lyons main vine after the pumpkin.. On the 758 Smith I have a crack before the first pumpkin after the first pumpkin after the second pumpkin and after the third two feet decided to pop right off !! Yes, it does happen !! Sure there may be a loss of vascular circulation in that area and sure it may steal a few lbs from your pumpkin but as we all say what choice do I have ?? I can only grow three plants for competition and I just have to make lemonade at this point because all I got is lemons!!! Don't get me wrong my plants are the best I have EVER SEEN they are just too good !!!! Set pumpkins on the largest secondary mains and ride it out OH have a 19 inch pumpkin on day 9 on a back main of my 900 Lyons too bad it against a wall !!!! Take care and just enjoy the season !!!!
