it is very common to see slightly different variations on the female ova
behind the flower. don't worry for now wait till they get Much bigger before you
make any decisions on removing any. i typically would like to see High wagon
wheel pumpkins that are short stem to blossom but really look at it the 1458 and
1385 were not high and round they had nice long bodies, i really started
thinking about letting long pumpkins form when I started seeing Pete Glasier
putting BIG pumpkins on the scale consistently with every shape imaginable
including one that looked line a Long red Hot pepper.. You just never know I always
say if the pumpkin is growing well just go with it !!!
