 The way I do it is the day it comes out of the soil. Now I sprout my seeds 
in the germinator then put them in the soil so I wait till it comes out of the 
soil and count that as day one. Just think of it as if you tilled a pumpkin in 
the soil in fall and the day the ground warmed up enough that the Dicots 
emerged would be day one! so if you do it in a pot the day it came out is day one 
and the day you put it in the soil in the PATCH is the SET OUT DATE! Hope this
