Hi, I just read in the SF Chronicle how bad it really is to use hot pepper 
for cats.  It can kill them.  It bothers them between their "toes" and makes 
them hot or itchy, thus they lick the paws and in-between and really get sick 
from this. I hate things ruining my pumpkins, but even I would not use the hot 
pepper.  The motion activated sprinkler looks great.  I think I will try it for 
the raccoons and deer!  Thanks,
