Broken vine



Hi,

I know this has been discussed before, so please bear with me.  Last
evening I snapped my main vine and it is broke about 1/2 of the way
through.  I buried it right away and left it alone.  This morning it
still looked alive.  Is this vine history??  Will it continue to grow
or just eventually die.  What about the female I have on that same
vine that is 14 inches behind the break?
