Hi,
      My main vine broke 9 days ago. It was broken almost all the way
through. It slowed in growth for a few day after I buried it at the
break. It has now grown over 3 ft. since then and back to 6 inches a
day. I have 2 pumpkins growing before the break. If they don't make it I
will go to my next best vine. Don't think I will chance pollination
after the break. You should be ok.  Good Luck!
