Hi Everyone,
Yes, I am still kicking myself for this one. I was moving the main vine on
my Greer 1006 today. I had pollinated the fruit yesterday with Al Eatons
941. During my moving of the main vine I did not see my plastic marker tag
and the edge of the tiny fruit was slightly cut by the edge of the marker.
Enough so that it oozed water briefly. I know this will leave a terrible
scar as the pumpkin grows, can anyone advise me if this type of damage at
such a early immature stage well weaken the structure of the fruit or
inhibit growth in any manner?
Thanks!
