I suffer from an impossible form of
>idealism that I expect the world to live up to. I project it into things
>I do not completely know and when they inevitably fail to live up to
>these impossible demands I go ballistic wondering how they could be so
>imperfect. When introduced to the GPC two years ago through Hugh Wiberg
>I could not imagine a more perfect organization reflecting every nuance
>of value held in me. To bad a red flag doesn't go up on top of ZOO's
>head when things appear perfect like this. When Zoo's dillusion finally
>breaks down and becomes imperfectly real like everything in this world
>the disappointment (I set myself up for) makes me very angry at first.

Zoo, I can relate ....in fact i think we all have expectations that are
never how we fantasize......... ...expectations for your kids, your job,
marriage, how wonderful a trip could be...how i would spend only 5 years of
my life in this shack ..next thing you know 20 years went by..to be honest
with you my life is somewhat different than i imagined...how come its never
like my imagination???......everything is so perfect when i fantasize
it.....I really don't know if this is a hinderence or perhaps a blessing
because it is my imagination that gets me to try new things because of all
the great possibilities......And I must admit that the line ..."what if
this is as good as it gets"......brings peace...that your doing it ...this
is it!....your pumpkin is bigger than mine and that wasn't suppose to
happen ....Joe.....we were having a great disscusion you weren't suppose to
offer flowers..that throws me for a loop,,,,,.unless they were
males.........fruitless in Ca......take care pumpkin pal....brock
