    I've tried egg cartons but if your fighting moisture they were like sponges,
then I tried the plastic plantertrays but they collapse  even when doubled up. a
good mound of hay worked pretty goo but it was a dry year. (should work ok if
you get rain and sun) looks like Im not going to have to pick a support this
year too much rain. Big leaves, no vine. good luck mike  in anchorage.
