Title: Mabel
The Omen
by Pumpkin Flower
Once there was a man named John
Who got up at the crack of dawn
To fertilize his pumpkin flower
Excitement building with the power
To grow a giant at this hour
And grasping on to his male flower
His hopes were dashed and turned quite sour
For there inside a bumble bee
Was dead as dead a bug could be
What started out expectantly
As he sat muddled by a tree
Had turned into an Omen bad
And this made our poor John quite sad
He had to change this plans some how
The female waited fertile NOW
With lobes all open sweet and ripe
And thinking quickly with a swipe
He choose her brother right next to
And did the thing he’d come to do
That little bee had wreaked his plan
What killed that bug and shook the man?
How will it end ? One day we’ll know
The reasons for all things will show
I’d like to think that omen sent
And just for John the omen meant
For him to see a bigger plan
Lets hope a pumpkin bigger than
The one that he was going to make
Lets hope a winner for his sake
