Re: The Omen

This should be called "The Omen Part II"

First, thanks Pumpkin Flower for your great poem., and Now, on to
chapter two.

As you recall in part one I found a dead bee in the only male flower I
could use to cross pollinate a blossom, my first. That was two days ago.
Yesterday afternoon, when I came home for work and went to the "patch"
before going in and kissing my bride, (as all you will understand the
relative importance of the respective actions, even if my wife doesn't),
I saw a fertilized female deep in the middle of one of the plants. I
guess the light in the afternoon brought it into better view. Since it
was so close to the center of the plant, I decided to cut it out. The
pumpkin was about half as big as tennis ball, and the blossom had
apparently just caved in. i opened the petals to see how many segments
there were (5), and (drum roll, organ crescendo) out flew a live bee
(very slowly).
 So what does this portend?
I await your responses, whether in prose or poetry.
