My name is Greg and I am a grower in northern Illinois. Any other IL
growers out there? I am still fairly new at this as this is my second
year with AGs(last year produced a measly 80lb. pumpkin). I got off to a
slow start this year(9ft. vines, just starting to set pumpkins), but the
vines are starting to take off with 7-8in./day growth in the last few
days. Anyone have any tips for playing catch up? Also two of my vines
began to show increased growth and then suddenly slowed to 1-2in./day.
Any clues as to why? How might I reverse this trend? I have been reading
the archives for a while now and I must say that this is an intelligent
and outgoing group, and I am happy to be a part of it. Good luck to all!
