More about soaker hoses rather than vines:
I am using a spiral pattern out from the hill, modifying as necessary to
fit the shape of the yard, but not soaker hose. I thought that a full
soaker hose pattern would make mud out of the whole yard and water
places that would only raise weeds.
I am using solid half in tubing with drippers installed as needed, at
least every 30". Seems to be working fine. Hardly any weeds and nice set
of plants which are growing fruit even as we speak (write).
