Now that sounds like a good idea!
Sure beats taking the risk of getting stung (I had a showdown this morning with a bee who wanted all the pollen to himself!)

Yes, this does work.  It's the only way I pollinate. I pick them the night
before and put them in a vase until morning.  Much easier than covering
every male.  I haven't tried to save them for 2 days. might work.
