RE: What do baby pumpkins eat?

Slugs can be gotten rid of in two ways that I know of organically.
One is salt.... salt around your plants and the slugs will die shortly
after contact. The other way is to pour shallow cups of beer out. The slugs
will crawl in and drown.

Subject:	What do baby pumpkins eat?

Well group I have done it. At last I have one or two baby pumkins on each
plant.
The babies are the size of tennis balls and growing fast. What do they
need?
Please bear in mind that my first sight of a pumpkin plant was when they
germinated for me his season. Another daft question is about the growing
tips of the vines. The tips are now nearly out of my garden and need to be
halted but how? Do I sever the tip or bury it? Turning the tip round is not
an option since the main plants are about four feet apart and the vines all
run across the garden. The main vines are about thirty feet long and in
beautiful condition with the only wildlife being slugs and snails. Aphids
do not seem to be a problem as yet. Any advice would be gratefully received
and acted upon.

Good Growing to all

Jane
