Thank you to all who sent their condolences on my loss of my 300lb
pumpkin a couple of days ago. Would you believe that yesterday, the 15th of
July, I harvested 330 mature seeds from this pumpkin. I'm thinking of
planting one to see if I can still have a big one by Oct. 2nd. I think this
would be a first to grow a second pumpkin from a pumpkin grown in 1999! I
have some back-up pumpkins in the mid to high 200's All hopes now are on the
937,844 Mombert and 1056 Stellpflug. I still have 3 pumpkins on the 480 plant
that had the 300lb pumpkin on it. Shellie Crammer (sp?) your Holly S...! made
my day after you viewed my garden on the web. I also viewed your pumpkin
prison on the web, your plants look so healthy. Thanks again to all.
