Thanks, Mike, for the encouragement. John Paul Jones, father of the American
Navy said it first, and my father named me after him.
"Give me a fast ship and a stout crew, for I mean to go in harm's way"
"Give me a wierd pumpkin and self timer, for I mean to see what will happen."
Not so glamourous.
Have we ever had a west coast pumpkin regatta like they have on the Atlantic
side?
Besides, my "normal" pumpkin is on another plant.
Isn't this fun?
