Seed point - Leaf direction?

Does anyone know which way the first true leaf faces compared to the point on
the tip of the A.G. seed? The hole where the root comes out is on one side of
the point. So when which direction will the first seed leaf face when it
sprouts, on the hole side, or the other side? Or does anyone know?
I am trying to figure out the right placement so that the leaves will face
south, and also the vines usually take off in the opposite direction in which
the leaves face.
