Soft Pumpkins

Last saturday I had 4 pumpkins growing.....2 at 7" diameter, 2 at
11".............
Today I have 1 at 28" diameter, other 3 same size......I tried to lift
the smaller ones up
to see if something as eating them and they pulled off the plant.....
Im down to one pumpkin no as I lost 2 plants to extreme heat and drought
conditions..
Is there any hope for my last pumpkin...seems to be doing well so far, I
put up a shade
tent to try and help it, anything else I can do ??? Thanks
