If you are growing AG,s, it is hard to grow a fifty pounder, except maybe
from a very late-season start. At 50 pounds they are still yellow and
thin-skinned and immature. If you let them grow, they will come up to 150
pounds or more, without any special attention, such as vine burying. And if
you give a little attention, such as keeping the number of fruit down to four
or fewer on a fair sized plant, I bet you will get 200 pounders.
This variety is designed to produce big fruit. Just give it water and be
ready for lots of visitors around Oct. 30.
