Re: Burying vines question?

Hi there,

I buried last year most of the vines, there are two problems which arise
with buring vines:

1) I do not think the plant does take much nutrients through this.

2) When the pumpkin does grow, you have to extract the vines out of the
ground, sothat the main main is not stretched.

In your place I would maybe add more nutrients to the main roots of the
plant.

However there is an advantage, if plant them in a place which sensible to
wind or storm.

Anyway, this year I will not bury them. I think it is beter to spent more
time giving the right values of N-P-K to the plant.
