Re: Tale From the Dragon's Keep
Looking good Don! My 771 I have going is also my best plant, but the
Calai 846 and the mystery seed is very close behind it. I have had some
very adversely cold nights, 2 in the last week have produced frost
filled mornings.. Not good for pumpkin growing! I have however gotten
rid of the cloches, and gone to basic wind protection, hoping that it
will help harden the plants off, and give it a boost of a growth spurt.
Mid 70's by day, 45-50 by night doest help the plants vigor, but we
should be alright as long as we get a rain shower of 2 when the warm
weather does arrive.. Only time will tell..
Good luck with the 771, so far I have only had great reports in the
771, Keep it going!
