Interesting. My double, (an 845 Bobier offspring) split into two at about 1.5 feet
from the stump, at which point I clipped one. But 4 feet... One thing that someone
mentioned, these double vines are not very flexible. I'm already seeing that.
Mine has headed straight for the 2x4 riser on the hoophouse and I'm having
trouble getting it to go to one side or the other.

I too am having problems with double vines. one plant split early into
two vines and is doing well. The other (845 Bobier) is about 4' and is still
double. My problem is that I have an 869.5 Calai planted right next to it. I
really wanted to grow the 845 but I'm not sure I have too much more time before
I have to make a decision as to which plant to cull. ANY SUGGESTIONS? What is
the probability of this double vine splitting into to so that I can cut one
of the vines off?
