Re: Ants!

     Yes indeed this plant is a trooper. It's the biggest and healthiest in
the patch. I'm impressed. However it is getting close compitition from a
the Solomon-728 plant.  These two plants are my pride and joy at the
moment. They are full steam ahead and the way they looked tonight, I'll be
covering vines in 2 - 3 days. The first mains are pushing 3 feet . Need to
get wind barriers up before I remove the cloches. Plants have almost
outgrown the 6x7ft cloches .  
     Regarding the ants... I checked my leaves and no aphids. But red ants
traveling on the ground . Hmmmm? Want does this indicate?
