Don't burn those plants! If you go overboard on the fertilizer you will
get smaller pumpkins. They are too salty and parched.....give them water only
for a couple weeks. They may have enough fertilizer to last for two years.
The dead edges is probably soluble salt injury. Take your foot off the gas
and you will have bigger pumpkins.
