Greetings,
Well here it is yet again for all of you who have even the slightest of
interest in how things are going out here in the pacific northwest via Canby
Oregon, where the two sheep who star in Eddie Murphys new movie Doctor
Dolittle hail from. We raise em well out here. But anyway, back to pumpkins,
the past few days have been okay growing weather with moderate temps and a
little rain and more sun. The plants have really responded to the better
conditions and I am happy to say that I have none that will be yanked this
year. Here is the run down.......
Site #1 the #875 Lloyd After a funk at the start, this plant is turning out
to be okay. Dark green large leaves and a 4' main vine. Its buddy running in
the oposite direction the #876.5 Lloyd, is also doing well.
Site #2 the #697 Ciliberto is turning out to be a great plant after all. It
is a buff looking plant with big leaves and thick stems and a 4 foot main
runner. Its buddy, the #615 Wilson is coming right along too.
Site #3 the #825 Shymanski is whoopin butt. Big leaves, big plant nice
foliage , its a full package. the plant is 6' wide with a 6 foot main vine.
Site #4 the #827 Holland is making up for lost time from the storm and growing
with a purpose. it is 5 x 5 foot main vine.
Site #5 the #567.5 Mombert is doing well. Very well.
Site #6 the #627.5 Hester now has a 8 foot main vine with 4 foot secondaries
ect ect. The first female sits at the end of its main runner. The #469
Hester is nearly the same in dimensions only a little thicker looking. It
also has leaves ranging from 24-30 inches wide. If something wonderful does
start hapening, I may be a little quieter after this, for things are looking
well.
