Vancouver Island update

Thanks Jake for the response to my post on the list.

I am growing two plants one is a DILL which I do not know the history of
and the other is a LLOYD 935 kindly donated at about the five leaf stage
from BILL VERCHERE in LADYSMITH.

The LLOYD TOOK about three weeks to recover from its drive up from
Ladysmith but now it has flattened and split into two vines both three ft
long as of yesterdays measurement.

The DILL is doing excellent. Nearly thirteen ft long with lots of
secondaries and both male and female flowers. I sprayed both plants a week
ago with SEVIN due to the one aphid i saw,since then no live critters to be
seen.

I had posted the message on the list so i could get some cross pollination
with other plants locally. let me know where these other growers are if you
can as it would be interesting to see how other people are doing in this
quest for the big one.
