sooo many vines....

Hi folks - growth here is explosive in Cleveland OH.... warm and humid with
lots of rain......

I have plants about 12 feet long now with many many secondary vines.....  I
have noticed many female flowers just starting to emerge - many on secondary
vines......

Question- Is it best to pick the main vine for the "big one" or if I get some
good lookers on the secondary vines will those produce a monster?

A few plants are just crazy with secondary vines.....  I am planning on
growing several smaller pumpkins on these - just what can one expect to
produce if -lets say 2 to 4 pumpkins are set- and grow on the same plant
(size/weight wise)....?
