Copper vs. Captan vs. Sulfer?

O.K., so what are the differences between these different fuingicides? DO they
all work the same? Do any work better?
If they all basically work the same, then which is safer to the plant? I know
that copper and sulfer would probably be safest for people and the
environment.
Does everyone here just use Captan because of "pumpkin peer pressure", just
because everyone else does, with no other real reason than that?!
