The proper term would be "self".
open cross = mother nature by herself or hand pollinating with male flowers
from different plants
self = using the pollen from a male that is on the same plant as the female.
sibbed = using a male flower from a different plant as the female, but both
plants are from the same seed stock. (eg. you planted two 567 Mombert seeds
and you use the male from one and the female from the other)
