Uh....yes. I'm afraid you will have to blow it's freaking head off.
O.K., no, don't do that. Sounds like something the guy who eventually
DESTROYED my pumpkin last year would do. He actually sat outside his camper
all night with a shotgun, and told me how many times he "saved" my pumpkin
plant by pecking off rabbits and gophers, and sending out the dogs to "finish
the job".
Anyway, just maybe try to trap him with a Have-A-Hart and see if anyone wants
him, if he is domesticated. That would probably be the best thing. If he is
more of a wild rabbit, then try to deter with pepper dust, wire mesh, more
desirable food placed somewhere else, or a lot of other stuff until the
plants get big enough where if they eat a leaf or two (which should fuill
them up on an AG!), it won't really do much harm.
