I ran mine more last year and had lots of problems with rot. In addition to
high heat, we also have very high humidity here in the D.C. area. So rather
than buy Daconil stock, I'm trying to minimize the dampness, only running
the misters intermittently. Someone named Craig answered this on Duncan's
roundtable - saying to wrap the hose with reflective foil. Unless someone
comes up with something better that will be Plan A.
I also want to raise the misters, so maybe the water temp will be at least
down to the air temperature by the time it hits the plants.
