Beth,
It wouldn't cost very much to run some 3/4 PVC pipe a few inches
below the ground surface, at each end you glue on hose adapters, you won't
have to roll it up every time to mow the grass and the water temperature will
be just fine, just be sure to blow the line out with some air before the
ground freezes and you will be able to use it year after year, last time I
checked 3/4 PVC pipe was around $21.00 per. 100 ft. about the same price as a
good garden hose. (Elkskin)
