Re: 825.5 shymanski

Andrew
Planted the 825 here is Ca last year. Made some great crosses with the
935 Lloyd and the 865 Mettler. The plant grew quite slow and had my
wonders, burned the main off just after setting with the 935 just about
12' out on the main. Nice pumpkin there and the other on S1. The heat
really destroyed me even with foggers and also had some problems with
water supply to the plant. In a cooler climate it might do better, I
spit the 865 slightly but nothing to bad. The biggest was 549# and the
other est. at 500. Would try the 815 checkon for sure, as I will this
year. Also planted the 968 Sproule. Grew fast and came up with a squash
at 490 #. As typical it was heavy 10%, but was hoping for a orange
fruit. oh well. The others don't know alot about, the 906.5 did not
germinate last year for me .
