This year I will be growing in twice the amount of space I did last year. I have a soil test I did this spring for my old part of my patch 7.5 pH and it is a little low in nitrogen. What should I do about this? I don't have any measurements on the new part yet and I am wondering if I should take two separate measurements or take a combined measurement? Also when I was turning over the soil in the new section I dug down about 1 1/2 ft and the soil is a completely different color most of this soil in the new part of my patch is of very poor quality and will need a lot of things added to it. The lower soil looks even poorer should I mix them together and try to fix them both or leave the lower soil alone? Michael
