Someone who had known that I have been obsessed with this hobby of trying to grow a giant pumpkin told me that they had read an article about crumbling a viagra tablet into the surrounding soil has had a tremendous effect on plant growth.  Something about it contributes to the root development, excessive vine growth and heavy fruit.  Is there anything to this or is someone trying to have some fun with a second year grower.   I know April fools is right around the corner.   Best of luck to everyone in 2001.
