no seeds

It is the majority's favor to lean toward envriomental reasons concerning pumpkin growth due to their general lack of knowledge on genetics.  No one take that statement personnally, as that is not the intent.  Having a very strong background in science, and specifically plant genetics, the data is quite convincing for me.

The 1190 was a combination of near ideal genetics and environment.  Each of the 815 seeds is unique (genetically speaking) in itself, and each on shows a different degree of vigor. Therefore, not all 815's will perform like the 1190.  Obviously, the 1190 has shown the highest degree of vigor.  Since it was treated so well environmentally, the fruit optimized it's genetic potential.  Thus the characterisitics of hybrid vigor showed through.

This horrible Wisconsin winter has me a little edgy as of late, so Im a little quick to respond aggressively to comments.  Please forgive me if I have offended you.
