Re: GPC Squash Determination, a final thought
My final thought on this is simple,
Why does the subject of promoters paying big bucks to see pumpkins come up.
Are we as growers letting the "few" with big money dictate what we " the
many growing them" are going to do.
I know in my world things might seem simple but here is ALL I ever want.
I want to grow the biggest fruit possible, if it's a pumpkin GREAT ! , if
it's a squash GREAT !
I'll take it to get weighed, see some friends, swap stories about the one
that got away & then go home
"" Did you notice I said NOTHING about collecting money""
Then when I empty the fruit out I'll give the seeds out to anyone who wants
them.
I'm sorry but when I here the ( sponser wants to see orange) phrase I feel
I'm being played by those with money.
Just my 2 cents, And that's all I got to say about that......
