Re: squash vine borers

Consider yourself lucky... it's a completely 'different game' when you have
to compete against the dreaded Vine Borer... not fun at all. I have been
growing pumpkins and a produce garden for over 30 years (this will be my 8th
year with AG's, 30+ years smaller pumpkins). I have had the vine borer for
about 10 to 12 years now.

Get this, there is a farm/produce commercial grower up the street from me
(less than a 1/2 mile away) and he doesn't have the Vine Borer (how lucky),
I took a femle Vine Borer up to him (dead one) for show and tell and he
didn't have a 'clue' what it was.
