Glen:
I am in Orlando, FL and have not planted yet. Our weather has been a bit rough
and wet. We have a planting date of March 11 in mind. We will be in by the
17th for sure.
This is far too early for you. Unless you are extremely coastal and South, you
will be looking at planting mid-late April, based on weather and your
location. Your best bet would be to check with your County Agriculture agent
to get their advice.
Always remember, this is advice and you have to learn to be the judge. Many a
farmer has planted too early to lose tiny seedlings to an unexpected frost or
harsh wind, rain or hail.
Plant when you feel comfortable and reserve some of your seeds in case foul
weather or other catastrophe wipes you out.
Good luck!
