In a small town in the northeast the city council voted to not allow the guy
who drives an ice cream truck to play a little tune so the children would know
he was coming. He played a very soft version of "Turkey in the Straw." I
heard it and it was not loud or offensive. Some of the more influential folks
in the town brought this about. The children complained bitterly as did the
ice cream man. (So as to not offend any of you I will add that he sold a
pumpkin flavor of ice cream and that is why this post is suitable for this
group.) Anyway, I wondered if any of those townspeople who voted no to the ice
cream man's music are online here??? I think maybe at least one??
