Ohio Update!

This is an update on our first plant ever. Planted in ground on Easter
Sunday. With the warm weather and some good rain the plant is now 11 feet in
length with 3 primary vines. We have seen 10 male flowers come and
go...Without a female to pollinate... until today!!! The female is golf ball
sized and opened early this morning. Hand pollinated it with the same plant.
 Now we are keeping our fingers crossed for no abort. The pumpkin is 8 feet
from the stem.  Any advice from this point would be appreciated;
Fertilizing, Watering, Insect control, Signs of any problems to watch for,
etc. We are getting excited. And look forward to keeping you updated. Hope
all is going well with everyone else's plants. Dan & Lisa ( Columbus, Ohio)
